Watercolors:
Belgium
 watercolor
study, 23cm x 30.5cm ( 9" x 12"), late July, 2000, Nadrin, Belgium
I hadn't done any painting
for years when I did this watercolor. It was refreshing to find that
the touch had not departed.
"Put out my eyes: I can see you yet,
Stop up my ears: I can hear you still,
And without any feet can go to you,
And mouthless still your praises sing."
- Rainer Maria Rilke, The Book of Hours, Book II
