A Work in Progress...
Session three - Blue in the mixed technique:
Strangely enough, I couldn't decide whether to use thalo or ultramarine blue for my starting blue tint for the front side. At the last minute, somewhat impulsively, I grabbed the thalo and squirted it out. I guess I didn't want to compromise any intensity in the colors, so thalo it was. I knew that I might have some chromatic dissonance between the front and back sides, since I had already used ultramarine for the back. Well, I guess I'll balance that up later, if I have to.

For the back side, a blue glaze of ultramarie blue and then some free brushwork of working in various tints setting up an abstract pattern of sky. When necessary, I used a dry brush to reclaim some earlier level of work. The text is now partially visible. The sky has a mixture of tints and colors.
