Silverpoint: Underdrawing
Silverpoint on gessoed panel 30 cm x 60 cm, Kruispoorte, Bruges, Belgium
2009
I did a small version of this composition last summer.
It turned out fine, but I wanted to
try a different approach in the mixed method/oils stage, so I redid the
silverpoint on a larger panel.
Here is the same panel with
the further developmentI of india ink for distance accents.
I 'm curious to see what
will happen now...
