I created a painting - which pleased me - of the Kruispoorte view last summer. So why return to it a year later? Good question. My approach last year was an indirect technique, "en plen air",yet otherwise chromatically haphazard. However, at that time I had begun experimenting with a printing-process color approach to developing images but still, only in the studio. Could a similar approach also work "en plen air"?
