Egg tempera underpainting for Predijkherenrij Grande, 2010,
44 x 59 cm
This is the egg tempera underpainting for my first Inside-Out swivel painting. The colors are applied individually, no color mixing on the pallette, except for the addition of white. All colors do have white added in order to gently develop hue relationships, but not value. The subsequent layers in oil will take care of value and saturation development, so here it is just color.
