Underpainting
Egg tempera underpainting for
Sint Annarei, 2006,
40 x 30 cm
Although this is an underpainting, the colors
are somewhat saturated. I have begun to move away from
this towards pastel tones, so that the succeeding layers have
somewhere to go. Nevertheless, this layer served me well
in the final oil. |
