Being an en plein air landscape painter in Belgium is almost a contradiction in terms - at least this summer. Luckily the skies have cleared for the moment and I have been able to make use of this break. But I've also decided to finish some of these pieces in the studio. Stay tuned...
The thumbnails below are individual panels of a portrait of my friend Anna, done in 2011. It's a mixed media piece consisting of 25 wooden panels, each panel painted with a different technique.
