Recent Drawings: Landscapes and Figures

Creating a value study from a live subject has always been a critical aspect of the image development process.

On site landscape studies clarify and illuminate the relationship between hand and tree, paper and earth, heart and light. Most of the landscape studies here have formed the backbone for oils developed later in the studio.

The figure drawings are pure pleasure.
